With the 18 teams now signed up and ready to go, we will be starting our Season 2. Pre-Season is set for Wednesday, August 25th, 2010. Of course default time is at 9:00PM EST. All teams please start communications with your opposing team to confirm on the date and time.

We here at GACGL wish all teams good luck in your competition, frag hard and don't get caught hacking. We will be checking UAC2's constantly.

Also we did give 1 or 2 teams some leisure in not having their teams fully ready, if another team does come and want to play in the league, then we will remove your team if it does not have all the correct information entered and replace you with the team seeking a spot in the league. Also, all your team information must be entered BEFORE you play Week 1, if not all your matches will be forfeitures until your roster information is updated.

*Lastly* we are getting teams that are saying, "We thought registrations ended this Friday?" because all of a sudden they see that we have posted preseason matches and their team is not included. They still do,a s it was stated in the article about registrations being extended, "then the first 18 teams to sign up and be completely ready will have a spot secured in competing." So once again, we already have 18 teams that are ready to go, we don't want to delay anymore. However, as you can see in the above section of this post, 1-2 teams may have one or two players not fully ready and eligible, therefore if another team can get their roster ready before that already participating team then we will replace the current team with yours.

We are a bit disappointed that only 15 teams that have registered and signed up are completely ready to start GACGL's Season 2. Therefore we have decided to extend the registration deadline to Friday, August 20th, 2010 until 11:59PM EST.

We have also decided that in the case we do not get our original goal of 24 teams, which is what we had last season, then the first 18 teams to sign up and be completely ready will have a spot secured in competing. The teams that registered to late will be kept and used as back ups just in case a team decides to drop out for whatever reason.

Also, just because your team name may have appeared on this list DOES NOT mean all your players on the team roster are capable of playing. It simply means that you have met the required 5 player minimum to be set and ready. Those that are not eligible to play should have all their information entered as soon as possible. We will not tolerate teams that use non-eligible players in league competition, this includes in pre-season.

Rule Changes

1. We are allowing one substitution in overtime:
"A substitution can be made only once. This means only one player can be substituted and only in the first overtime in case double or triple overtime would be necessary."
2. Now only a 10 minute grace period for teams:
"There will be a 10 minute grace period for a team to show up and participate in their league match. Once 10 minutes have past, the opposing team must take a screen-shot of at least 4 players waiting in the lobby and report it."

With a successful Season 1 of Modern Warfare 2 here at GACGL we would like to thank all the teams for participating and a special thanks to those who stuck around until the end of the season, congratulations. We have decided that running a Season 2 would not only be the best option for us, but for the community itself. Every registered team has been removed in order for Season 2 to start fresh with new registrations that will hopefully include new up and coming teams to compete. All team accomplishments, rewards and matches have been saved.

The staff members at GACGL have learned a lot from the previous MW2 season, and we'll do our best to bring you guys the best MW2 league around. The rules are bound to change and we will keep everyone updated once we have posted the new updated version of our MW2 rules.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 2 registrations are open from now up until August 13th, 2010. Be sure to have at least 5 people on your teams roster in order to be eligible to participate, we have limited team rosters to a 8 player maximum.

All teams that are going to participate in Season 2 of GACGL's MW2 5v5 SnD must have their rosters up to date with at least 5 players in order to be eligible.

Along with this, we would like to also inform all team leaders to enter your teammates STEAMID's in the "ID" section under their name. This is an important step in order to keep smurfing out of this league, which will be done and if smurfing is found to be done will have consequences. (Read "Rules" for more information). All team leaders please make sure you and your team members have their UAC2 UserID's or WEGAME ID's entered in the "Other" section. No player is allowed to play in a league match without their UserID entered. This is under your user details or can be seen when viewing your profile on the website, generally 5 digits (i.e http://uac2.com/userid/36682).

Here at GACGL, we love to give out credit for a job well done. With that being said, we are in a middle of a staff overhaul from the bottom up. We have decided to make a new position for GACGL's Call of Duty division, named Director of Operations - Call of Duty. With this new position, we will be releasing new leagues in the near future for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, the upcoming season Two for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, a possible league for Call of Duty: World at War, and the soon to be released and much anticipated Call of Duty: Black Ops.

With this new position, we would like to announce the administrator overseeing the operations, David "Teflon" Adade. Because of David, our first season for Modern Warfare 2 was a success, which prompted us to release a Season 2 as quickly as possible. With the changes that are going to be made for Season 2 of MW2, we needed to make a decision on who is heading up MW2. We have decided to officially announce that R.J. "Revok" Juarez is now that new Lead Administrator for MW2.

With these new decisions, we have a need for new administration for all of the Call of Duty games, or any other game that we are going to participate in. If you think you are administration material, please put in a support ticket at our support ticket system and we will contact you immediately.
